Meridian Ball
Each year the Meridian Ball raises funds to support our public diplomacy, educational outreach, and cultural exchange programs. Meridian has offered the ball since 1969, bringing people together in one of the most elegant and historic settings in the nation’s capital.
The Meridian Ball is one of Washington's most celebrated social events, attended by public officials including Cabinet members, Supreme Court Justices and members of the Congress, as well as foreign Ambassadors and representatives from the international, business and cultural communities.
The evening begins with dinners at the residences of some 30 participating foreign Ambassadors and ends with dancing, dessert and lively conversation at Meridian House, an architectural treasure listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Meridian also organizes a dinner held at our White-Meyer House the same evening of the Ball for our younger patrons. Following this dinner, these dinner guests join other guests for the Ball next door at Meridian House.
Corporate Sponsorships are also available beginning at $10,000.
